Three Types of Tanks
My family and I are about to move in to our new home in the suburbs. The renovation process is over and it is now a matter of moving in the furniture and other essentials before we can officially stay in our new home. While in the process of moving in, we almost overlooked the problems and headaches we had with our previous water tank. Therefore, dad thought it was the right time to solve the water issues we have been facing once and for all, before moving in to our new place.
Dad and I decided to check out the local hardware stores to find a suitable replacement for our almost-dysfunctional water tank. To our amazements, we found out that there are many types of water tanks. For example, there are the conventional water storage tanks which most households use. Then there are the rain water tanks which help store water accumulated from rainfall. Residents might want to invest in one as it helps cut cost on monthly water bills. Besides that, there are the underground water tanks which cater to those who have issues with accessibility and space in their homes. These underground tanks are placed beneath the house and are made to endure the unpredictable underground environments.
After going through all the available water tanks on display, dad decided that it is most prudent to get the traditional storage water tank as a replacement. He did consider the rain water tanks but rain fall is completely random and does not come during certain months of the year and hence, we might face water shortages if that happens. And the underground tank, although ergonomically efficient is still pretty untested after long periods of use. With all these reasoning in mind, we had no hesitation choosing the typical storage tank.
